| Good dropouts, I think they are worth the money. If anyone does not know, despite the outward simplicity, a bicycle frame includes a number of components, one of which is dropouts, or wheel seats. In general, the word is unusual, perhaps many cyclists do not even think about the fact that the ears for the front and rear wheels are called so. Dropout is a special assembly of the bicycle frame with which the hub axle is attached to it. Each wheel has two lugs, regardless of whether they are nut or eccentric. Since the third wheel has not yet been invented on a regular bike, it turns out that there are four dropouts in total. Location: intersection of the frame stays for the rear wheel, and the ends of the fork for the front wheel. I gathered this information from informative posts on instagram from experienced cyclists. I managed to find a couple of hundred similar posts there and I noticed that in most cases these posts were posted by accounts that had at least 22 thousand subscribers!
